hmmm thats a good question. its a horrible story and possibly its too personal and horrible to make an edition of the memoire. suffice to say she died and nobody in my family has mourned her passing. which is a very sad thing to be able to say about anyone.
I wonder if such people realize or care about how they affect others. I also have a family member who will be missed by nobody, and yes, his sins are too horrible and personal to share publicly. I won't miss him when he's gone, but I don't hate him anymore (but I certainly won't be getting in touch, either - I'm no masochist)!
Thank you, it was fun to write, too. Oh, shoots, I just remembered that "Loomis" is your last name, I'm glad you're not offended! I actually named Ranger Loomis after a friend of my husband's late Great Aunt, who lived in Iowa. I always did like that name. 😉
lol. There are a lot of Loomises in New England. My husband has the family book that traces the name back to the 1630s when they came to the US with the Anabaptists.
Well I never heard of the pomola before…always good to know another monster - I once had a wicked step mother called pamela. that’s another story.
He's from Maine. The Abenaki had/have some very interesting gods. Will we get to meet Pamela in a story someday?

Loved your interpretation! Especially the notes... they had me laughing at points ^0^ The narriative tone comes through so strikingly!
Thank you, I had a lot of fun with this one.
That was so much FUN! The poor park ranger with the great last name— lol

That's cool! I'm happy to know that Ranger Loomis of Maine is appropriately named.
Oh, and I love playing with photoshop— thanks for all the links. And crochet, too!
Photoshop is a fun toy. 😊 I love that pattern, I might just have to buy it and learn to do crochet!
