I enjoyed this very much and as you often do, you put a smile on my face.

Just one quibble you may wish to edit - it's hitchhiker's guide to the galaxy, not universe.

Clever use of the babelfish though, I like that.

All the favorite fantasies combined. Older and Middle English are so much closer to German than most people realize. That 1066 Norman Conquest made a mess of the language!

Thank you! Another way of looking at it is that the 1066 Conquest made our language a little more interesting! 😁 Though I have to admit, I used an online translating program to get the four Old English phrases used in this story. I hope they're correct, but I have no way of knowing...
